You are special for even asking how to bring happiness to others.

First, you need to know yourself as well as possible, and this takes some time, for how can you give to others if you don't really know the tools (you and your talents) you are working with?

Figure out what your most effective talents are. Are you a great public speaker? Are you extremely well organized? Are you a good musician? Do you need more education such as a degree in communications or engineering to learn how to apply your interests to real-world situations? The answers will give you some direction as to how best to use your strengths to help other people.

Next, educate yourself about the kinds of happiness people need. For example, there are millions of hungry children in the world. Do you wish to find some way to provide them food? There are millions of people who don't have clean water to drink. Do you want to become an engineer and design machines to dig wells, or would you rather teach people how to dig wells for themselves?

In any case, happiness is a relative term -- it relates to a person's situation. For example, if one is starving, having food to eat is happiness. If one is cold and lonely and thinking of suicide, then having someone to talk to may make the difference in whether the unhappy person wants to live or die. If people long for beauty and culture in their lives, then you can give them happiness by performing in a concert or creating inspiring paintings.

On the other hand, bringing happiness doesn't necessarily mean making a big splash. You can bring happiness to others in small ways. Good mothers bring happiness to their children. Some people are conscious of their friends' needs and go out of their way to help. Courteous drivers bring a sense of peace to the road. My own mother gave countless others great happiness by her beautiful generosity of spirit. She always gave more than was expected; and she gave without ever expecting anything in return. Needless to say, people of all ages adored her.

Simply put, be the best YOU can be; and you will bring happiness to many others every day of your life. Good luck!

You need to buy the world a Coke.

Just do good deeds. It's the little things that count. Kind of like that one commercial where someone does a random act of kindness and another person sees and does the same thing to another person. It's a chain reaction.

do simple things to strangers. like when a stranger smiles at me, it always makes me feel happier. or hold a door open for someone, smile, i remember once a guy in front of my mom at a bridge toll paid for my moms toll, and she was happy for the rest of the day. i hope this helped a little.

If you just be yourself, and try to spend everyday becoming a better person by helping others in need then you will help the world and bring happiness to yourself.

You can do anything you want. You can change the world with your bare hands. You are a strong warrior ninja that will POUNCE on a terrorist and wrrite a book that brings happiness into the hearts of others that are in darkness like such as ME!

first bring happiness into your life, bring a smile in your face. only if youa re full of joy then you can give and share. as long as you only see misery and suffering, you bring more suffering, you add your heavy weight of sorrows to this world. when you are happy, when you live a life in bliss, then this will heal the world effortlessly...

small story: once there was a scientist...
he was working in his laboratory for over 20 years. he wanted to find a solution to the world's problems. a formula or something. he spend all his time in the laboratory and hardly ever came out to see the world.
one afternoon his 5 year old son came to see him. he asked: father, why you never go outside? why do you always spend your days in here, instead of playing something with me?
the father said: you know, son, the world is in a crisis, everything looks so bad, people are fighting, nature gets polluted, wars everywhere, i want to heal the world, i want to help the world.
but, daddy, that is exactly what i want to do, can i help you somehow, son said.
father smiled. then he said: well, i am not sure if you can help me, but you can go outside now and bring me a world map.
son went outside and brought a world map.
father tore it into pieces and gave it back t the son. so, son. now go and fix it again.it will be as hard for you, for you don't know how th world looks like, as for me to find the formula to heal the world outside.
son went ou, disappointed.
but after 10 min he came back, map was fixed.
the father stood with mouth open.
how did you do this, he asked.
son said: well, i don't know what the world looks like, but i know what a human being looks like. on the backside of the map was a human being, and when i fixed it, the world was healed...

By not doing unto others what you would not
like they did unto you. That's the passive way. If you do that it's already enough. But if you want to walk the extra mile, take your cross and follow Madre Teresa.

be a doctor and go to Africa and help all these people suffering from diseases and hunger....

prozac

I was going to answer you, but when I looked at the other answers, I liked Tat Tvam Asi's answer better.

By performing random acts of kindness.

I guess the first step would be to help those who you know. Doing small gestures should suffice, like waving at a neighbor. I know I get extremely happy when someone waves or says "hey" to me. It's also good that you're trying to go vegan, that helps make me happy, and I'm sure it makes all of those poor animals happy.

This is how I try to achieve your goal! I do at least one good selfless thing for another each day. It is unreal what people walk right by each day, when they could make a big difference.
