If we aren't confused and upset with the condition of the world, we are living in denial of reality. The question is, are we going to be motivated to ally ourselves with like-minded people and work for change, or are we going to remain paralyzed, lethargic, and apathetic and strive to distract our minds in frivolous pastimes and material pursuits?

World seems 'confusing' to the pessimists; world is amazing to the optimists. In other way, why the world would be "confusing"? It's 'some of us' are so-called CONFUSED indeed. To these group, many things become confusing. They become confused after seeing an amazing thing. To some, a sunset with vivid colors are so stunning but to some, it's confusing! :-(
Finally, WORLD is BEAUTIFUL in real sense to a normal human being; it becomes confusing to the confused persons.

it is confusing at times but i see it all as two simple choices.....love or fear...love is always the answer....love knows who it is so there are no questions....and the ego only has one question and beneathe it are all others...the ego's first question is who are you.......

Of course. At times the world will always seem confusing. If you find yourself in a constant state of confusion, though, then perhaps you have too much going on in your life. I don't think the "world" could be confusing without humans. I don't think, say, a rat finds the world confusing. It knows three things: find food, find a mate and stay away from the cat. We on the other hand are worried about college, our children, our cars, our finances, bills, wars, parties, the list could go on infinitely. But notice, all those things are human made. necessary possibly, but still created. That doesn't mean returning to some primitive eden-like state would simplify things. I'm merely saying the state of our consciousness disallows us to keep things simple like our fellow animals. Which is why I say if you ask this question because it seems too much is going on in your life, maybe you ought to simplify. Because as far as I can see, everything that makes humans' lives confusing are self-made. If, on the other hand, you've got some algebra problem that's confusing and you're waxing philosophical, then...best of luck, b/c I can't help you.
