Position:Home>Philosophy> Guessing - What odds?

Question:When we perceive similarities in possible patterns of events, we sometimes ascribe to them meanings beyond that which we can prove. These perceived attributions allow us the basis for guessing. Is there any way we can be more perceptive in order to improve our guesses?

First, I applaud your mental organization. In answer to your question, I'd say just stay vigilant about knowing the difference between what we know and what we don't know. Gather up all we know, then guess.

Everything is a gamble, a choice, you weigh up potential consequences, hedge your bets and hope for the best.
