How about "Freewill" by Rush. Don't worry.....Be Happy honestly, just about any love sing you can think of If you want to go for an A, try "Desolation Row" by Dylan, its a long, complex story of people trying to escape their sad destinies, trying to get away from themselves by different means, weather it is love, sex, social standing, materialism, etc they all end up on desolation row. You could name your paper "the limits of free will" or something alike Hmm maybe A perfect circle-Freedom of choice? good luck with ur paper I suggest "The Times They Are A-Changing" by Bob Dylan. Dylan basically talks about the youth generation (that is the youth generation from the 60s and 70s, Generation X). He talks how this generation is a generation who is now beyond the control of their parents (the baby boomers) and that, because of the differences, The Baby Boomers generation should just let Generation X be free. It addresses issues of social change, addressing issues such as civil rights movements and whatnot. It's a good song with great lyrics concerning society. RUSH - "Freewill" "If you choose not to decide, you still have made a choice" It should be an easy download to find, and it'll be on just about every "best of" album they've ever put out.. Google Leo's Lyrics Database if you just want the words. Good luck with your paper.. Half the people in your class will use "Freewill." Try this instead: "If you can't be with the one you love, love the one you're with." That takes a choice of the will. Power to the People - John Lennon God - John Lennon. This one is probably the best one. It's about believing in yourself and not in what people tell you to believe. About following your own path, not the one that someone placed before you. Since the obvious "Rush" song was taken, I'll add to that... THINK FOR YOURSELF - the Beatles. I've got a word or two To say about the things that you do You're telling all those lies About the good things that we can have If we close our eyes Do what you want to do And go where you're going to Think for yourself 'Cause I won't be there with you I left you far behind The ruins of the life that you have in mind And though you still can't see I know your mind's made up You're gonna cause more misery Do what you want to do And go where you're going to Think for yourself 'Cause I won't be there with you Although your mind's opaque Try thinking more if just for your own sake The future still looks good And you've got time to rectify All the things that you should Do what you want to do And go where you're going to Think for yourself 'Cause I won't be there with you Do what you want to do And go where you're going to Think for yourself 'Cause I won't be there with you Think for yourself 'Cause I won't be there with you There's also "Freedom of Choice" by DEVO "Wrapped in Grey" by XTC "The Greatest Love of All" sung by Whitney Houston "When you stand you stand for something" by Utopia "House of four doors", "Question", and "The Best way to Travel" by the Moody Blues |
