Not sure what you are talking about.

Local issue?

Havent a clue.....

i really don't see the point...
why not do it during the day were you can see

haven't a clue either

Its earth hour. Most places worldwide will be turning out the lights in honor of this, Personally I dont think that it will have any sort of even minimal impact on our earth, there are so many things consumed by us and an hour just wont cut the damage weve done to our dear earth. Maybe if we did lights and power out for a year it would make a 2% difference, but we all know that wont happen :)

im doing it...i think it would be fun for once cause im allways bored....and finally i can play cards with a candle with my little causin and tell scary stories

Apparently when they did it in,I think,Australia a couple of years ago the power saved reduced the emissions equivalent to that of 43,000 cars in one year, as to the % of people in the world that will partake tonight is anyboby`s guess, when it has been mentioned that countries such as China are negating the efforts of the rest of the world.

I am doing it..Its Earth Hour..

its supposed to inspire people to go green and protect the enviorment
the 8pm to 9pm thing could change something but i dont know well see

It's a "spot the idiot" test.

If all the people who aren't too bright anyway, turn off their lights when we tell them to, that will help us to find out where they are and save some electricity for the rest of us.

Shine on.

Ignore it..It is just a stunt by the Greens and Environmentalist trying to convince you that it is only them that care for the environment and the "Global warming nonsense" so next time you will vote for them..Don't be fooled by them.

Yeah another bright idea from the ( we're doomed) brigade. I for one will be doing the opposite with a few little extras thrown in.

Its earth hour. The main object of the exercise is to send a message to world leaders that we need to look after our environment better. Important because there is another G8 meeting soon. Mine are out as i speak and i am writing this on my laptop instead of my main computer.

I did it. It was amazing how peaceful and relaxing candlelight and a book can seem by contrast... I took a walk around our close and 8 out of around 40 houses were unlit - if extrapolated this is 20% of my community (Northern Ireland), though I think some houses were just empty. Even if 10-20% participated it means a significantly less wasteful use of energy...maybe it's the start of something bigger...
