Basically everybody agrees with you.
Except the unfaithful ones Which comprise around 2 %.

Why do people become unfaithful? The general consensus done on people who admit to having been unfaithful at one time or another is that;

1. The offers from others are "constantly there", and a "rare or occasional tryst " should NOT be considered infidelity.

2. Infidelity is not the found in the physical but in the emotional commitments.

3. Its a "guy thing"

humans are not designed for fidelity.

I don't think humans should marry, too gregarious, if they do and become unhappy they should either fix it or get out of it before some one gets hurt even more......

I believe in being faithful in a relationship.

If a marriage gets so bad that one partner needs to play outside of the home, that means they should of gotten counseling a long time ago. There is a big red flag that needs to be delt with.

There are some men or women who think nothing of cheating. in fact they wouldn;t use the word. They just think it is part of lfie. And they see no reason stop doing what makes them feel good. at that moment.

then there are the people who never intended an afair and it happened. NO excuses tho.
Then there is quilt that they hide and are misserable the rest of their lives.

Infidellity is a shattering thing to do. If person needs to look outside of the marriage, then they need to get single where they don't have to break their marriage vows.

I often think. what part of the vow don't they understand. Promise to honor, trust and keep only to myself.

I think its effects are so cut and dried that it's almost wrong to ask anyone's "opinion" about it, including mine. It is what it is - a devastating betrayal, and damaging even if both parties think it's ok and give each other permission. You just can't do it in a loving sexual relationship - just like you can't fly a plane into a thunderstorm - it's not a matter of permission, it's more like a matter of emotional physics.
