I would say: Louis De Bernieres Gabriel Garcia Marquez Salman Rushdie They would have the ability to make my dull life sound interesting just through their use of language :) Stephen King, I used to live about 2 minutes away from his house on foot. I would pick Ray Bradbury, Margret Peterson Haddix and Louis Duncan. Well, in order of preference, I'd choose: Neil Gaimen-God I love this guy Stephanie Meyer-if she can create hot vampires, who knows what she could do for me? Stephen King-Creepy books made into creppy movies made into creppy biographies. WOW, your life MUST be very interesting. I am holding my breath waiting for that book.
