partly because its just nature and it just exists. partly because of wars and other human activities. thats it.

because thats life. life wouldnt be anything without the extremes. pain..suffering..happiness..anger...THIN... ABOUT IT.

Sin from when adam & eve first sinned, by being deceived by the devil. We are no longer perfect, so human nature is evil.

For two reasons: First for the reason that we should not take happiness for granted and better enjoy the happy moments of life.

Then, pain and suffering beyond the natural measure are caused by ourselves to ourselves. We are not supposed to blame God or Devil as religious people do as a result of superstitions.

Craving, egotism. We often create our own suffering in many instances by our false sense of importance, ending this alone can stop a great deal of suffering, but there will always be suffering, as life is suffering, as the Buddhists say.

Now if you believe the Buddhist philosphy on rebirth, which I'm not sure I do, but it certainly is the afterlife scenario, after study, I would be most inclined to believe if I had to choose, our karma from past lives, our greed, selfishness, and other worldy desires put to bad use, put us and keep us in the bad situations we find ourselves in in this life, the only way to end the cycle of rebirths(end suffering) is to estinguish the control these have on us. This does not mean living as a hobbit, but instead controlling ones own desires,

live, but do not crave, do, but do not desire.

Again, while I follow Buddhist philosophy, and it does explain the cause of human suffering quite clearly, believing in karma is certainly not a necessity, it is just the only afterlife scenario that could possibly work with physics and philosophy, and it is one that intrigured both the likes of Albert Einstein and Carl Sagan, string religious skeptics, they weren't believers, but they didn't laugh at the possibility, as they did with many others regarding personal gods and godesses.

that's what life is all about. these are what we call the spices of life, the challenge we all have to face to be able to survive. without pain and suffering life has no meaning. (",)

It's because of Karma we make...

Law of Karma

All living creatures are responsible for their karma — their actions and the effects of their actions — and for their release from samsara (world). The concept can be traced back to the early Upanishads(epic).

The Esoteric Christian tradition, Essenian and later Rosicrucian schools teach it as the "Law of Cause and Consequence/Effect". However, this western esoteric tradition adds that the essence of the teachings of Christ is that the law of sin and death may be overcome by Love, which will restore immortality.

So what you are seeing now is convolution of Karmas of all of us...

Love all...

In Vedas it is said..

Sarve janaha suhkino bhavantu,
sarve bhavantu niraamaya ha,
Sarve bhadraani pashyaantu,
ma kaschid dukha bhaak bhaved.

May all living beings live happily..
May all be without any threat...
May there be no suffering for anyone...
