Question:The secret behind the universe. Where does it end? What holds the universe? What the purpose of it being here?

Best Answer - Chosen by Asker: The secret behind the universe. Where does it end? What holds the universe? What the purpose of it being here?

The cumulative effect of thinking about the big questions is that of a wonder about our own being. It is indeed wonderful to contemplate as how grand is the creation, the universe, and what is our purpose of being here that way we are, but the wonder is all about your own self, your capacities, your purpose in life and purpose of life in general. All the questions that you might have are in fact the questions of your soul, so to speak, as it yearns to peer beyond the grasps of your mind into heavenly realms of actual reality of existence. There could be things that however we could never know but they are undoubtedly part of the totality that we belong to.

Besides, it is awesome to know that we cannot know everything, for if we could then we would be terribly alone, all by ourselves, lost in ourselves, which in turn is the definition of ignorance. This therefore is only ironic that we know certain things because we also know that we do not know much about many things. But do not let paradoxes like these confused you as wondering about the universe, the creation, the beginning and the end is only the beginning of the actual knowledge of something that matter more than anything else, and that something is no other than your own self. Have you ever wonder about yourself?

yes i sometimes do but i learned it many times about the stars and galaxies in science

No I don't really. Somehow, this would be harmful to my inner-life. Though sometimes, yes I think about this.

doesn't everybody?

There are several things which man cann't understand.God alone is answer to this.

Why do you assume it's a secret?

Isn't the secret a Galaxy.

I'm not obsessed with it, but, all the time.

Certainly, however there aren't many sources that are able to reveal the answers. I suppose it would take many generations before Man can develop machines powerful enough to reach further into the Universe. Man should spend more time and funds trying to seek solutions to conquer terminal diseases, viruses, AIDs, and to extend longevity. That, within our life-times, would be more practical and meaningful.

Any big question can be dug into to the point where you eventually have to say "there's just no way of knowing that". At which point all the questions on top of it become nonsense. You can "if/then" and argue until the cows come home but you can't ever win.

I think there are enough mysteries in a single mind to keep a human being busy for the entire length of human existence.

yes, quite often

No I want to know the secret to finding inner peace, contentment, self confidence, happiness and hope. For me things start with myself FIRST.

Think about what you are saying though. How would I "know" all that. I really don't think that I'd ever be able to exclude such knowledge from doubt.

No. The Universe is too vast to know the end while I am still in the beginning. I prefer the struggle to dissect the Universe, although sure that I'll never get beyond the skin.
