yes it does..you just didnt hear it

YEPPPPPPPP

if an hour goes by without someone asking this question, are they still a jack&^#?

yes

Nope

yes because if someone was there to hear it fall it would make a sound.
Trees when hitting the ground have been proven to make noise!
I mean maybe a bug heard it!

yup, it goes, "timmmberrrr!!!!! CRAAASSHHH!!!"

yeah, u just dont hear it

The ability to create sound waves is not dependent on those nearby or willing to receive and interpret said waves. So, yes.

How should we know, you just said that we were not there at the time. Please keep up with the conversation. lol

lol yes...that is like saying you neighbors are listening to music... and u can't hear it..is it making any sound.

I'll be different and say no.

That used to be a good riddle back in the day but the definition of 'sound' was clarified just for that purpose and it states that regardless of whether anything hears it it still exists

No, it makes sound waves. If these waves are never picked up by a set of ears and interpreted then they are just waves.

yes, sound waves are produced so it makes a sound.

why wouldnt it?
you have not seen a million dollars but you know its real so why does a noise you know exists be questioned?

Yes
Tree Falling=Event A

If Event A happens and Person A is there he or she would hear the tree fall. So if they are there it makes a sound. No Take Event A again but say Person A is In France. Event A is Still Event A so it will still make a sound just no one is there.

Yes, whether or not someone was there to hear it or not doesn't matter...it still made a sound even if no one was around to hear that sound.

yes

yes

YES,SLIENT SCREAM!

sound is energy and a wave--that energy and wave would be there even if no creature with ears was there to experience it. Would you still call it sound if it wasn't heard? That's just semantics.

if a fat girl falls in the forest and no one is around...do the trees laugh?

yes it does

YES! it did make sound. But none could hear it as none was there to hear it.

The ability to create sound waves is not dependent on those nearby or willing to receive and interpret said waves. So, yes.

i don't know.i wasn't there.....
but...i think ,that, yes..
the vibration of that tree breaking...

yes

No, sound is created in the ear by vibrations.
