Position:Home>Philosophy> IF all humans were the same colour, do you believe that we would find some other

Question:eg. Blonde's are better then Brunette's
Brunettes become slaves and are treated as sub-human

Red heads are treated as the intelligent race

ect. ect.

Just using an example of hair colour there.

Do u think if we were all the same colour that, because its in our nature to shun and reject other to feel better about ourselves (human nature), that we would find some other form of "classing" people.?

yes...i think people are born that way(there is always the good and the bad) some will still find their way of classing people maybe base on some other forms, if we are of the same color(just like your example) be it the hair or the skin color, then other people may now base it on weight and height...example, taller people are more superior than the shorter ones. there may be a lot more other ways of classing people, because some focus more on the bad things that they see thinking that by doing that they will look good to others, what they do not know is that they only look like a house with so many clutters inside, may look good and pretty outside but way too ugly inside.

Of course. We already do. Think of all of the labels and other things given to people for how they think, what they do, and other things.

yes

we already do unfortunately. by skin color even with our own races. whiter is always seen as better. than if not by color, facial features or body structure...........the possibilities are endless

Yes, discrimination comes in all kinds of shapes and forms and color is just one of them.

I think human has a tendency to make a group that they feel comfortable to join. And they would think that they were the better group than the others. It's the way it has to be.

yes

yes definately!! I'm already discriminated against because of weight

Yes... people already discriminate other than colour!! weight, people in wheelchairs, age.. this goes on and on!!!

Yes, because society in our imperfect world is based upon class distinctions, although we don't like to admit it. In Aldous Huxley's book, Brave New World, even though there is the capacity to clone everybody to look the same, or to condition them to "think" the same, that would not be conducive to the general good.

I am not, of course, saying that racism is good or commendable on any level. Yet every day we are forced to make judgments about people. I would much prefer that we judge others based on what they can control, things they choose. On a slightly tangential note, "discriminating" in the technical sense is certainly not wrong. It is the uninformed mistreatment of a person, based on a hasty generalization, that is wrong and ignorant.

Yes, thats why God made changes to us, and He was right

yes, but even though there are people that discrimanate against race, people are always discriminating against something more

Hell yea ego in action babe!!!!!!

Yes, ofcourse. There would not have been any type of History if discrimination would not have existed in the mind of human race.
