It depends on the person to whom we identify ourselves and the situation. If you meet a friend of your child, you introduce yourself as the father of your child and so on and so forth. We are not what we are in the absence of the circumstance and environment. Without this, the physical consciousness does not work in a vacuum. It is only the real self within or the Atman that is independent of the external reference. My uniqueness that makes me different from the rest. My name and my person is what identifies me. we have to tell our pessimist and optimmist that what we think of us i introduce myself as : hi ! i am gaurav arora the most defining part of me is me myself. our personalities change every year , every month or with every major experience of life.... so i just keep the greeting salutation stagnant and try to be me .......... That is a very cool question... Hmmmmmm. How do I identified myself? When somebody meets up with me that is someone from the past, I usually ask them how have things been for them since I last seen them. But if I am being introduce to someone new, I would mention first my passion for being an artist, which is my persona before mention my career unless they ask me first what I did for a living. I think I'd rather have someone see me as an independent thinker, who is more interested in the views of how others think. I have yet not really defined clearly this. By my activity I realize myself to be an activity in constant perfection in that conciously and unconciously I seek to make a more perfect coordination with reality and perhaps that is why the universe has me in existence for the time being. That fact that my name is spelled with a K and not a C instead.
