You cannot trust the Mayan calander. Everything the bible predicted about the end times is coming true. You can trust the holy bible. There will be a 7 year peace treaty concerning Jerusalem that will mark the time to a final world war at the end of the 7 years. Nobody knows when that will be but it will happen in the near future.

This is the end of a long cycle in the Mayan calander which supposedly always ends in disaster. Some think its the end of the world, some think that this is when the the humans who are ready will evolve to a higher level of consciousness while others think this is just another stupid end of the world theory where nothing will happen.

maybe a big meteor will collide earth, maybe the sun will stop shining, maybe we dont have enough oxygen to breath, maybe christ will come, maybe .... lol..

anyway, 2012 is the end of the mayan calendar. an ancient civilization which made calendars and suddenly stopped making after 2012. .. should you wonder why? .. they could have continued making it but they stopped.

Don't believe anything you read about the end coming. God will decide when its time to end the world as we know it. In the meantime make every day of your life a memory and enjoy it. Time on this earth is way to short to worry about whats going to happen tomarrow.

We should distinguish between our way of calculation of time and the real cycles of natural phenomena. Why should 2012 and any date at all be a sure date of the end of the world? It's madness.

Apparently the Mayans, whenever they lived, made up a calendar and only drew it up for a thousand years into the future or however long - it's a fluke, I think. Nothing to it. My Palm Pilot's calender stops at some time in the future too - doesn't mean anything. Neither they, nor anyone else, can predict the future in any significant way - except possibly astronomers if they saw an asteroid coming.
