Question:Are we living or surviving?
It depends what sense you mean that in. There are some who are just trying to survive and some who live, there are people in Africa trying to get by with hardly any clean water, food or money, However most people in the west like myself live, To survive we don't need to eat in 5 star restaurants or buy lots of clothes we don't wear, we don't need cars to survive nor ipods, phones, computers (yes, i am on a computer but it just proves my point) or any of the crap we get each day, some of us are trying to survive and some are spoiled with the luxury of living

i think it depends on the person and how he views his life.

It usually depends on what day you ask me... However, I know I should be working harder to live not just survive...

That is a very good question. I think we are surviving because everyday their is a struggle to live. We struggle to make money, go to school, get a job and go ahead in life. We try to put our obligations before our happiness. Although we are living and breathing every day, this life is full of quandaries and challenges. In many countries people are struggling to survive. They are in war, discreet poverty and they face the worse cases of diseases like pneumonia, malaria, AIDS, etc. I believe that we shouldn't give up on life. We as a people seek opportunities in every aspect in life. We should open our eyes to the world no matter what.

I think unfortunately these days we are surving. But in the UK and other richer countries we are surviving and a greater scale than other lesser countries. For that we should be gratefull

Humans live because of survival. Survival is a human instinct of man. Having all the basic human needs allows us to see the wonders of life. But i wanted to see the positive side of life. Life is a living reality, a blessing, a natural priceless right and opportunity to be with other creatures. To live a life at its best and work together for a common good and finally attain our destiny.
