What's in a thumb and its direction?

Question:the opposable thumb... good for pointing to God when pointing your fingers at others... good for grapsing objects, b/c the fingers all pointing one way can't grasp as well.. ( check with a cat, if you don't believe me.. they use both paws to pick something up, or their teeth)...
