Given these pros of living forever....would you?

Question:Ok, so if you could live forever, under the conditions that:
- you're not immortal, if you want to die you could kill yourself or just die by accident somehow
-everyone else had a shot at living forever
- you could stay young

As well as the knowing the possibilites that:
- If something does happen to the world, humanity could move onto another planet or universe and/or build another planet like earth one day (due to advanced technology)
- People would constantly be making up and discovering new things, so you would never get bored
- Advanced technology would allow you to back up your memory on a chip or something similar so you'd always have your memories

....would you want to ?

Assuming the average life span is 70. with 17 leap years
To live one day at a time will mean-365 x 70 + 17 lovely days
To live every hour of it-[24 x 365 x 70] + [24 x 17] great hours
To live every minute of it-[60 x 24 x 365 x 70] + [60 x 24 x 17] fantastic minutes
To live every second-[60 x 60 x 24 x 365 x 70] + [60 x 60 x 24 x 17] wonderful seconds
and to live every moment ? Certainly!

as isee.. i think i am concerned with life cycle God has given, we are just people servants and follewers of God, we must die and ge back to Him, their are no greater feeling than to be with Him forever, ithats the best part of being a human.

I would not. I think certain things would lose their value after time passes and there are things Id rather not see in my lifetime.Oh and if u can die then how is it living forever?

but the part of finding a new planet to live on is difficult.
Humans dont have the Technology to creat a new planet or a spaceship to travel those great distances. Plus the lack of oxygen, food, and water will cuase death on the trip. As well as the time to reach a new galaxy, and that's a lot of years on a ship. Plus if humans happen to find a new planet dont you think the same problems will happen again? I mean humans are the smarts race, but the most selfish of them all! We would not give up our way of life! If you dont belive me just look around at the news, world pollution, war, ecomony, ect. all this problems are fixable! but we dont want to.
