The Matrix. The fate of all beings in the "hands" of machines...go figure!

I adored the book Fight Club which you should read and I think you'll noodle out several strands which will help you judge how the character reacts to society, his own impulses and the demands of others.

Complex novel and I didn't bother with film, because Hollywood inevitably *alls up a good story because the makers' egos get in the way of telling the tale that Chuck P set forth. So there you go a challenge to read book and apply it to the film.

I've seen the Matrix, have no idea whether it was a book or not. Lots of flash effects, abiding memory for me and kazillions of others is that the swirl of a long leather coat under the wash of a 'copter's blade is now an iconic image. That works for me.

The Matrix!
