Is Peace the natural state among men?

Question:I don't think that peace is a natural state among men.
Men will always have different beliefs and never totally agree on anything and as long as they do not agree then there is always war.
I would hope there would come a time that they could disagree without conflict and realize that war does not take care of the problem.
There have been arguements throughout time and they have always ended with hatred or a war. Sad but true.
Greed is another force that brings on war too.
Take slavery for example: The north was against it and the south wanted it. They could not agree on such a thing. It had to go one way or the other. War was their only solution to the problem. Without the war then the nation would be divided against it self and they could not have that.
Until man can come up with a better solution to disagreements then war is the only outcome.

No, but it's not just men. Conflict and change through destruction is the nature of the universe. The planets are made from the left over bits of exploded stars, the animals can't live without consuming life (plant or animal), and evolution involves one species achieving dominance over the other. Peace is nice. I like peace. It just doesn't pay the rent.

Yes, biologically it is. But it is very painful for us to face it.

Maybe it used to be...but no. If it were, the world wouldn't be the way it is...

Peace is the essence of each individule. it is like the candle that lights up his soul. when the individule gets indulged in bad things (war, killing, cheating ,lying, hating.....) he turns off his candle and looses his natural peace, he lives in darkness as what is happening with many.who live in darkness and chaos, see darkness and chaos and sometimes when they see a light (like peace) they get blinded by it and also can not behold it.

Yes and no, it really depends on how you mean peace. There will always be conflict in the world, and we, as well as all other creatures, have to find ways to deal with the conflicts. If we look back to the common ancestor we share with chimps and bonobos, our closest relatives, we can see that chimp society has a rigid hierarchy formed by competition for the Alpha male and Alpha female slots. We also see that chimp clans will defend their territory and fight "wars" against other chimp groups. Bonobos, on the other hand, have a more loose power structure within their groups, and find less aggressive ways of settling disputes between groups (the bonobo's, at one time thought to be just a subspecies known as the pygmy chimp, favorite method of conflict resolution is sex).

Like a mighty Oak tree we endure in balance until the time in our environment is over. Serving the biome we still exist as a fallen mighty Oak to in turn decay and enrich the soil that other mighty Oak trees can spring up to take our place in biome of continuing eternity. The natural state of man and trees co-exist through winds and rain, violent storms and natural occurrences in nature in a peaceful state.

islam understand war so no peace with ayrabs and moslims
