But you do know what your goals are.

You have just let life confuse you a little.

Think about it.

Yes, writing is a literal grounding device in no less way than a neutral pole is to that of an electric current. The writing of a goal enables one to modulate and govern thought and emotional energy, and avails an arrow head focus just as does a magnifying glass concentrate light into a pinpoint of heat. Art expression -- visual, auditory, or kinesthetic -- does the same, carrying with perhaps even greater export.

The writing is peculiar in its composition, however, and relieves of congestions, which in the mind can easily become like that of a bottleneck of traffic found at the approach of an on ramp onto a highway; writing, then, clears retrograde causes and thus places ideas in a queue so as to order one's thought before any action is taken.

It depends. Sometimes, writing can distract you from your
real life goals..sort of a literary escape. But if your
writing is visionary and includes not only your desires,
but the right roads to travel to reach them, then it's very
beneficial...at least it's been that way for me. Of course
if your goal is to become a great writer, then it's a
built in motivator unto itself.

No. because answer/writing comes from the intellect.

Yes - I'm a great one for lists and diagrams. It helps sort out priorities, and how to achieve them. Whether one pursues them or not is another question!

Sounds like a good idea providing one can get the first thought or idea written down.

yes it concentrate the mind ...it is like watering root of tree...which will reach all parts of tree.

The thought in my mind actualizes the goal.

You should know something about your goals: know your strengths and weaknesses, what sets you apart, what makes you unique and yes jotting all this down will clear your head.Brainstorming is a powerful tool used my many and I believe that you need to figure out what you are good at,what you want out of something, what will make you happy and then to make a realistic decision. The writing will influence you somewhat yet you knowing yourself is what will make you come the conclusion of what goal ought to be and why.

Sure, I am a true believer in God speaking to us in mysterious ways. What better way for Him to communicate then with your own thoughts. And what better outlet for your thoughts than with writing.
