What is your opinion, about the human race?

Question:Is it near the end of man kind? Or, is everybody a pessimist. Myself included?

The human race will survive for a long time to come. At the same time though, I think it is disgusting what we've done to the planet. We may have a while, but there can't be long for the environment and everything else out there.

They have a hard time controlling greed. They use everything and anything to advance themselves. Cooperation is not so good.

We will all kill ourselves at some point,but I think we have at least another couple hundred years left.

No, I don't think so. I am optimistic.

From a Judeo-Christian perspective, we started out in a paradisaical state, and the world's been running downhill towards Doomsday ever since. From that viewpoint, man is self-destructive and fully deserving of his downfall.

From an evolutionary perspective, it's been one really long and arduous climb out of the Primordial Ooze. The human race isn't perfect, but at least we're able to learn from our mistakes and make actual progress. The fact that we evolved any morals at all is a miracle of sorts. An even bigger miracle is how a physical universe is able to create a species of hairless chimpanzees that are smart enough to contemplate metaphysics and create brilliant works of art.

I have to admit that the second perspective sounds a lot more optimistic than the first...

No...even when they flick the switch...the human race will still go on....somewhere.

I don't see how we can be so dumb and smart at the same time. But we still march on to better things through the grace of a higher power,we don't know much about. Being optimistic, is the only way to go on.

My opinion on the human race is that it is amazing in its bad way and good because despite the endless flaws we have, you can't deny that looking back in history, although we repeat our mistakes, we've come pretty far for people who evolved from monkeys, stared from a Garden called Eden or any other why you believe life on earth began.

I know that people run really fast. The speed limit is set yett people decide how fast they will go. At those speeds people can really get angry on the road.
