Position:Home>Philosophy> Why is life a solitary journey?

Question:solitary means alone..

Anyway it seems that no one can get another person completely, and so we all feel alone. I really hate leaving behind all my friends when I move and I hate it when they leave when they move. I wish that I never had to let go of people.

Sometimes it feels like life is some cruel joke. It also seems to be all about luck.

The purpose of this life is to find yourself and be comfortable with that. It is a solitary journey.

A great trick isn't it?

It seems so real.

Love and blessings Don

Perhaps unconsciously we yearn for the way life started back in life. Our earliest moments of living was that we were surrounded by other living beings that took care of us 24/7. And that feeling stayed with us until we began to think we knew better than our parents did about the world around us.

I think the creator does this to show us how desperately we need to interact with other people. Even Adam was not meant to be alone so God created his help mate. His woman. A being Adam would need in every way possible to form completeness and wholeness.

Yet it is true even in the midst of companionship we will feel moments of isolation and aloneness. I think it's because we have always felt that way even at birth. But never really discovered it's full presence until we left the company of the ones that loved us. And needed us around them. Just as much as we needed them around us.

I hope this gives some insight into this profound question of the ages. And these are but my mortal views on this timeless theme. Later.

because no one else will complete your journey but you

This solitary journey can be really rough, I know for sure! But I cannot go on to the next question without telling you that the Creator of Heaven and Earth doesn't leave us completely alone. He promises to be with us forever and sent His son to bridge the gap between heaven and earth. Hey! It's Easter, I can't help, but talk of Jesus Christ.
Blessings, I hope you find that "one who sticks closer than a brother."

In one sense it is solitary but in another sense it is not. After what I've been through with trusting people I almost feel relieved to be solitary sometimes. But the fact that we seek companionship shows that there is a place for this in our hearts, but it is only among the great and loyal hearts that this friendship comes true.

Because it's rewards are a solitary experience .

They tell us the same thing no matter what part of the world we came from . As long as we ask that question, someone will say to you right away:

"You were born alone, and you will die alone"

They havent invented the saying to say to twins or triplets. Because it does not apply !
Be careful of the cliche answers.

Life is a solitary journey because we are all focused on our own lives. The only time we momentarily lose that focus is during the time we have offsprings and bringing them up .

No one realy cares We should look at each other as if we where all brothers and sisters
