To many people the world is not boring. Are you in America? Maybe that's why.

It seems that a boring world is the result of either apathy of the masses or manipulation by the State, or both.

If you find it boring it is because you are.

That's too relative an evaluation of the world. Not to everyone the world is boring.
Your problem is that you have too much time to spare. That's what is boring and giving you the overall impression that the whole world is boring. Use your imagination
and get busy.

The world is not boring. If you are bored, it may be because you feel like you don't have a mission in life to keep you engaged. Find what your mission is, and you won't be bored any more. You will be inspired!

Instead of psychology, try studying philosophy. The greatest questions ever asked are in philosophy. Try:

Why are we here?
What is the meaning of human life?
What is my purpose in life?

Good luck to you.

One would first understand your definition of boredom. Is it a lack of stimulation for your intelligence level? Is it a lack of areas that peak your interest? Perhaps you simply have too much spare time, which if this is the fact you should count yourself lucky, most people don't have enough time to do what needs to be done let alone the things they want to do. I really believe "boredom" is in the eye of the beholder.
Oh and by the way, if you're looking for something to study to keep from boredom, I would look into spelling, grammar and punctuation. Your question seems a little too much like "stream of consciousness".

psychology is boring and so are museums

Sounds like you need to change your world...mine is just fine...

Dude see i the kind of person that believes your life is what ever you want it to be, so i don't think life is boring maybe ur just boring????

i have been to a lot of places i like and trust me i am not easily amused and i need to keep my self busy all the time with things i like so i never see the world as being boring there is always something to discover and experience and bam u are missing it...

We try too much to control and predict our environment, so when we know the future with a high degree of certainty it rapidly becomes boring. Like watching re-runs...
