Wow! This is how advance computers could do. Indeed it is very alarming if that could be transformed into a pseudo-dog rabid dog. There is a lot to experiment in order to come up with such, But it beyond impossible for they are tremendously doing their best efforts.

Thanks for the shared video and information. It is something to relay to my friends about the new robotic big dog.

Happy Easter!

Imagine having that with a submachine gun controlled by group of terrorists.

btw, nice video, amazing.

Dear yaoi
and why I need Guy & i am on the planet March,I forget everyone except my childern.

Big deal an ant can do that and it poses no threat to me.
A.I. exists I know but what bothers me is when we start putting it in charge of its own design.
That has the potential to result in a truly alien consciousness that may or may not have our own best interests and mutual growth as its primary motivation for existence.
Robot tipping anyone?
No I dont see that it cant only that it has not been tipped
cool posts though thanks

Dr. Michio Kaku pointed out that the best advances of artificial intelligence , at the moment, approximate the intelligence of a retarded cockroach, while great, now it's more like a extra-special puppy, but the point I have to make is that when intelligence of these systems becomes nearly human or approximately human, you can be very very sure that there will be constraints placed upon development.

You can be similarly sure that those constraints will only postpone the inevitable, that barring the collapse of our civilization beforehand, it's extraordinarily probable that a hyper-intelligent machine ntelligences (MI) will be a fact by the time children born today become grandparents old folks.

I dare say there is a good sporting chance that such hyper intelligences would be the greatest invention of our species.

While its possible these MI could turn on us and exterminate or enslave us - ala Terminator or The Matrix, it's actually more likely they would seek to "preserve" the parent civilization.

For instance, let's say there were these machine intelligences, and a man-made nuclear war broke out between the various nuclear states, a "solution" to prevent everyone from dying of starvation or civilization collapsing might be to let the machines create great "pod" arcologies where humans are fed and kept in a virtual world - more or less like the Matrix - only with the intent of preserving our species rather than controlling it.
