Plz, opinions needed?

Question:just wrote this and well I dont know much about poems..so please tell me if it's good and what you think the message is.

In a dark, hollowed place
You’re in a situation you cannot face.
Before presuming you are forlorn,
Don’t forget how He was scorned.

Time passes and yet stays still
No progress. Your will unfulfilled.
Before succumbing to defeat,
Mind how our Savior has been beat.

Endless prayers with no answers
“Why hasn’t my life been as his or hers?”
Before wailing of being damned,
Remember the suffering of ‘I AM’.

Losing hope, your faith is dead.
Think back on what He said:
“Trust in God; trust also in me.”
And know that He will not forsake thee.

I do like this very much. I would assume that it's talking about how one should have faith in Jesus, even if you're down on your luck.

If you don't know much about poetry, as the experts in that forum. We are philosophers. I can critique your poem for metaphysics and epistemology or what ever it contains; but I don't know poetry.

Would you ask the poets to tell you about your metaphysics?
