That totally depends on the situation (I'd much rather get a $20 bill, than give the electric company $135...)
NPR ran a story yesterday about how researchers conclusively proved that giving away money makes you happier than spending it on yourself (however, the researchers gave the participants the money in question, rather than having them earn it. I'm sure that would have made a huge difference).

To receive means you owe someone;
I do NOT have the means to give;
so NEITHER one. I do not want to be obligated to anyone; I do not any one to be obligated to me.
We should all be free.

Each gives happiness.

Are we talking about measles or money?

i am happier when i give.i am happy when i give to the less furtune people because i know that they will be real greatful, and i guess i am happy when i recieve but i am way more happier when i give!

Happiness is.....

Recieving if it's money or pleasure.
Giving if it's pain or death.

When I give, because to see the smiley & the joy on some ones face for something I gave or did for them is gift enough for me.

Giving

If you mean giving as in helping people out in some way or another, the answer is give.

Im really happy when i give and i always do that especially to the less fortunate.I love to give foods to kids,you know it makes my day really perfect when i give.Im not that rich, but i really love to give.Its nice seeing kids smile when i give ,and they call my name alot when they see me.Its nice to give than to reciev....

happy when Receiving something you like. But the happiness when your giving is more enjoyable.
