You respect and don't respectwho you choose that is a decision you make. No you don't have to respect your enemies but it's best not to disrepect anyone. You only get what you give. And it always comes back around good or bad.

Never respect someone that doesn't respect you that is how you get walked on

Respect them as living beings? Yes. Respect them as in condone? NO!

I think we should respect someone based on his/her personality, regardless s/he's our enemy or not..
