Question:I Promise Myself
To be so strong that nothing can disturb my peace of mind
To talk health, happiness and prosperity to every person I meet
To make all my friends feel that there is something worthwhile in them
To look at the sunny side of everything and make my optimism come true

Hail, Scotland, my mother! and welcome the day
When again I shall brush the bright dew from the brae,
And, light as a bird, give my foot to the heather,
My hand to my staff, and my face to the weather;
Then climb to the peak where the ptarmigan flies,
Or stand by the linn where the salmon will rise,
And vow never more with blind venture to roam
From the strong land that bore me — my own Scottish home.

It gives the reader hope and power. All is our creation. If we have a good attitude, we'll attract good.

hold on to that please.

Nice. Lately I was very inspired by Jozef Seifert and Jiri Wolker. It is in Czech language, but extraordinary good.

Always Have Hope?
~by Henri Nouwen~?

I hope that I will always be for each person?
what he or she needs me to be.
I hope that each person’s death will diminish me,?
but that fear of my own will never diminish my joy of life.
I hope that my love for those whom I like will never lessen?
my love for those whom I do not.
I hope that another person’s love for me will never?
be a measure of my love for him or her.
I hope that everybody will accept me as I am,?
but that I never will.
I hope that I will always ask for forgiveness from others,?
but will never need to be asked for my own . . .
I hope that I will always recognize my limitations,?
but that I will construct none.
I hope that loving will always be my goal,?
but that love will never be my idol.
I hope that everyone will always have hope.

Paul Laurence Dunbar (1872-1906)

We Wear the Mask

WE wear the mask that grins and lies,
It hides our cheeks and shades our eyes,—
This debt we pay to human guile;
With torn and bleeding hearts we smile,
And mouth with myriad subtleties.

Why should the world be over-wise,
In counting all our tears and sighs?
Nay, let them only see us, while
We wear the mask.

We smile, but, O great Christ, our cries
To thee from tortured souls arise.
We sing, but oh the clay is vile
Beneath our feet, and long the mile;
But let the world dream otherwise,
We wear the mask!

One 4 line only poem left a good impression to me. It's in Bangla, by Nirmalendu Goon:
(here is the translation)
WAR means a sports
Between Enemy Vs Enemy
WAR means your negligence
Towards me!

Ambition Over Adversity / 2pac

Take one's adversity
Learn from their misfortune
Learn from their pain
Believe in something
Believe in yourself
Turn adversity into ambition
Now blossom into wealth

Happiness is a Crackpot

We convince ourselves that life will be better after we get married, have a baby, then another. Then we're frustrated that the kids aren't old enough and we'll be more content when they are. After that, we're frustrated that we have teenagers to deal with. We'll certainly be happy when they're out of that stage. We tell ourselves that our life will be complete when our spouse gets his or her act together, when we get a nicer car, are able to go on a nice vacation, when we retire.

The truth is, there's no better time to be happy than right now as a Crackpot If not now, when? Your life will always be filled with challenges.

It's best to admit this to yourself that you are a Crackpot now and decide to be happy anyway.

One of my favorite quotes comes from Alfred D. Souza. He said, "For a long time it had seemed to me that life was about to begin - real life. But there was always some obstacle in the way, something to be gotten through first, some unfinished business, time still to be served, or a debt to be paid. Then life would begin. At last it dawned on me that these obstacles were my life."

This perspective has helped me to see that there is no way to happiness. Happiness is the way . So, treasure every moment that you have and treasure it more because you shared it with someone special a Crackpot , special enough to spend your time with...and remember that time waits for no one.

So, stop waiting until you finish school, until you go back to school, until you lose ten pounds, until you gain ten pounds, until you have kids, until your kids leave the house, until you start work, until you retire, until you get married, until you get divorced, until Friday night, until Sunday morning, until you get a new car or home, until your car or home is paid off, until spring, until summer, until fall, until winter, until you're off welfare, until the first or fifteenth, until your song comes on, until you've had a drink, until you've sobered up, until you die, until you're born again to decide that there is no better time than right now to be a Crackpot and be happy.

Happiness is a journey, not a destination

If a Crackpot does not keep pace with his companions, perhaps it is because he hears a different drummer. Let him step to the music which he hears, however measured or far away"

So be a crackpot and be happy

So work like you don't need money,

Love like you've never been hurt,

Listen to the different drummer

And dance like no one's watching.

That is truly being a Crackpot

Rev W.E Crackpot

It's not much of a poem, but a quote:

"O dear white children casual as birds
Playing among the ruined languages
So small beside their large confusing words
So gay against the greater silences
Of the dreadful things you did..."

YOU HAVE DONE WELL VERY NICE I MYSELF LOVE POE MES KEEP THE DREAM ALIVE?

"Vote for Nixon in '72.
Don't change D i c k s
in the middle of a screw."

That was a real anti-Nixon slogan. Yahoo would not let me type the word D**** without spaces.

What if I said there are Bob and Larrys and ***** in this room?

Sing out for books
The paper bread
That feeds the hunger
In the head.
Nibble a mystery,
Swallow a star,
Sip honeysong
Wherever you are.
