yup there is no happiness when there is no sadness

i believe so

yes

Wow! That's it, huh? Is Happiness the Ultimate Risk?? I'd say that avoiding Happiness for fear of losing it is a greater risk.

Interesting question.

Ya...kinda like...most people fear success more than they fear failure.

not really. happiness is the result of your hardwork, patience and postive perspective in life. the ultimate risk is making decisions on very challenging situations because those decisions woud affect your future. :)

Great one.... hadn't thought that way before!!

Thinking through, my answer however is no..... life is the Ultimate Risk..... happiness has no existence without life.

It's as easy or hard as living in the present. From your essence will flow love, which results in happiness.

No. It is the ultimate experience that can't risk being missed just to avoid the pain of coming down from the high....that is where we learn and grow the most.

yes, and success the ultimate fear.....

It depends on the meaning of happiness.
If it is noble, selfless and harmless, then there is absolutely no risk - if you know the way to get there.

The greatest risk is not trying out of fear. The biggest loss is to have never tried.

Happiness is not the ultimate risk but the ultimate goal of man. Happiness, after all is the aim of life. We choose happiness for our ownself and never with a view to anything further. That's the ultimate goal of life why we are here. Whereas we choose honor, pleasure and intellect......... because we believe throught them we shall be made happy.

Thanks for asking. Have a great day!

...it is if you're the type that waits for the other shoe to fall

No... it's the ultimate goal...

no faith in the abstract is the ultimate risk

Yes, because it means going against what others want you to do and forgetting the outcome. It means getting what you want depsite your circumstances or situations. It means being happy no matter what.

No. You can chose to be happy regardless of circumstances. Happiness is subjective and in order to be happy you don't always have to take risks but not risking in order to find greater happiness is sometimes the greatist risk.

If it is not going to take your life what are you going to lose? Happiness? Or the chance to know what you don't know now, which will bring you to a deeper understanding, which will make ulimate happiness more possible. Reality is the only thing that can make me happy; knowing what I am, where I am and what I can do. The only risk is to give into your fear and to do nothing.

4 what? happiness is a supreme, yet short state, so wonderfully worth to risk a lot of things for.

If in life you set yourself no targets and no aims then you can never be disappointed with the way your life has turned out, disappointment can only emerge from effort, this is the same with happiness if you are truly happy then when you fall into depression it shall be much worse. But is the risk worth it?

No, giving of yourself is,,,, who should you give it to is the risk

no it is the ultimate reward

Some how I see the ultimate risk being reinacting the kitchen sex scene from "Nine 1/2 Weeks" with a cannibal.

I think the biggest risk to happiness is that it might last forever and some how lose its meaning.

Happiness goes well with peace. If I'm at peace with urself, I 'm really happy , otherwise how can be happy. So we always ask for peace of mind. As for happiness, u have to sublime it with ur peace of mind.

No...happiness is what you make it...trusting others to give it to you is the ultimate risk...

yes

when hapiness revolves the heart, the mind sets up an atmosphere that allows vulnerablitiy by the simple method of being able to be shot down and shut down...again, or even worse, for the first time
