u have to atleast come to grips with it... even if u want to change it.. u have to understand it and accept that it is there first before u can do anything about it.

yep of course, unless what you "accept" is just a skewed perception of the reality you've been forced to live in. you're not ugly, you're not dumb, you're not untalented. you're a great person, and the sooner you embrace that truth, the better!

Define embrace?

I try to make the bad and ugly better.....so I guess that means I don't embrace those things.

I think my job in life is to be the best person I can be....and it's never ending.

No. How can you embrace the bad in you? We are what we choose to be. We can be selfish, self-centered, cruel, and evil, but is this something we should just embrace? Or should we take notice of these tendencies and try to better ourselves so that we can be the best we can be?

To think that all we do is okay and embraceable is ludicrous. We should always be taking stock of whose we are, who we are, what we are, and who we would like to be, then make the conscious effort to change those bad things in us.

Only the truly decieved and narcissistic would think they never have to change and can embrace everything as you suggest. We would be an awful people if everyone thought this way.

as ive answered in your other page, yes u should totally embrace all that exists to understand it fully and deeply, so u can change what is wrong with your own personality to heal your own soul. if u know not hate, how can you know love? if you know not pain, how can u understands anothers sufferings? use that 10% of your brain fully ppl, you will grow.

Everything, including Pleasure and Pain!
All part of what is.
