Is anything in life truly enjoyable?

One needs to define tangiable before answering fully.

At one level, no, nothing is tangible - in one view, nothing even exists.

But, on another level, everything exists, without passing, in some form. The past merely a different phase of what has been experienced in a present state at one time.

So yes, everything in life can be enjoyable - but we must not try to hold to things as they become the past - they cannot be experienced the same way they were in the present, or anticipated in the future.

Once it was written "vanity, vanity, all is vanity"... and this too is true. One's view of the universe is tied totally to their interpretation of events - and if we dwell on what once was and now is not - we enjoy nothing. But if we focus on what it was, and see it in its new phase - we can enjoy it still.

Which of course brings up all sorts of new questions - what is joy, pleasure, loathing... all sorts of things that do not truly exist except for our placing a label on a sensation.

The nature and people around us

While experiences cannot last a life time, memories can. So yes, there are things in life that are truly enjoyable.

Memories.

Life is...

everything around us....

Actually there is only ever the present. The past is always seen in the present . The present is always completely enjoyable but most of us are stuck in thoughts of the past.

you can be the richest person in the world and be the happiest but as you have said it, it won't last, you will have to come up with another stuff to enjoy but there is something that lives forever, making people enjoy with you, seeing the joy of the poor with you not the rich ones, the rich ones don't need you to enjoy themselves but letting the poor savor like and making them very happy will put everlasting experience of joy, I know someone who did this, he saw a a very depressed and poor girl who run away from home, at that time he was caring a lot of cash with him and he gave her a lot of money and some of her problem just got solved right away, this happened in a Church where she was crying and praying, guess what she said, she praised the Lord so loud with tears of happiness and thankful for God's attention to her prayers and the guy who gave her saw every bit of her smile and happiness and he cried himself out of joy after he left and he told me that sometimes he remembers her face and he still tend to weep out of happiness for doing it. He is not rich but he earned a life time happiness if you know what I am trying to say. It can be money, or good attention or anything that seems too small can bring a life time happiness, that's how God has made this world.

Above all your comments, may I say, there is a reason why the mind is so powerful, able to recapitulate through memory the past and recreate and project future events. otherwise we might as well be rated the lower level animals, but even at that, they too, have the power to backtrack memories. That is our mind's cognitive function. That is one thing that is trully enjoyable in life.

hey every body lets report this person

We have senses that tell us so. But, the mind makes us question all of our perceptions. We are the enjoyer, not the objects. Our mind can even question our enjoyment.
