I don't think one day would help, there would probably be calamity in all directions. The trick would be for say , a year....and throw in ,if you learn by your experiance you can change back if you want. Or better yet...make everyone the same color...lets say blue....that would be interesting.

It would challenge people's preconcieved notions of perception of color pertaining to other people. What would happen exactly there-after: people may get their vision, eyes checked, in disbelief! Beyond that, gee, i dont know, interesting thought / question.

Personally I just don't care. The cost of therapy will rise, suicides and wars will increase.

Well I had never experienced overt rudeness to me because of whatever "class" of person I was until I took an Irish rental car into England. English drivers treated me rudely with open contempt - it was ugly. So - for that day I was Irish, I suppose, in England. I have to say I didn't learn anything, just felt bruised and sorrowful.

Everyone would call out sick from work. "How could one deal with such a phenomena?" I would think the world was coming to some conclusion of a long joke. I wouldn't leave my house. But if it were a permanent thing, thats where the real answers would be found. But if that happened, I think it would not solve anything, Ever see the movie, "White Man's Burden?" Its kinda like what you are referring to. All the skin tones of blacks and whites are reversed. It shares the story of what Blacks in our country have to go through but through the eyes of the oppressed white man, as an artistic expression. Its pretty fascinating to think about from that point of view.

Skin color is not an identity to ones self only to others around you, its just a way for the "superior" or "inferior" to be recognized. If suddenly all the KKK were black, they would know they should be hanging white men now, cause they used to be black but are now identified as white. Being proud to be Black or White is only from external stimulus, and because you can't be proud to be Black if you are indeed Philippino.

People would suddenly realize, what the words "empathy and compassion" really mean.

The underlying psychological similarities would be more self-evident, even as the secondary modifying characteristics would be appreciated for what they are: often important and significant, but reducible to more universal qualia such as Lovingkindness, Truthfulness, sense of Justice, Purity, Mercy, Mindful awareness, and the like.

"The Path of the Universal Christ," Mark Prophet,
"Men in White Apparel," Ann Ree Colton.

Nothing would changes theoreticially, becuase the groups would have there colors, and hate/love would stay the same. So honstely you'd have to mix everyone instead of switching some way shape or form so that your just an oposite. Minority will still be minority and same with majority. NOTHING Would..

We must all remember you never said anything about the person changing, just their color, so no compation or feelings would change, because that wouldn't make sense. Now maybe the racist people mite commit sucide but thats it. lol..

It would be interesting, but wouldn't affect me much. I'm a Heinz 57 and so is my son. I wonder what color we would change to?
There would be others who might kill themselves if they changed skin color, because they are so filled with loathing and hate their little brains couldn't handle it.
Ideally, this change would give us all a chance to "walk in another's shoes" for a day.

if your skin color changed, why worry about it, just be yourself!
go outside and take a good walk, think about breathing with fresh air, that what you should be happy about it, if you stop breath; then worry about the air instead of silly skin of color.
