Position:Home>Philosophy> Deleted Question: DO YOU AGREE? Obama believes what his pastor Jeramiah Wright s

Question:"in SUBSTANCE"

but not "in the pastor's RHETORIC." ???

Apparently after numerous answers, someone thought "Do you agree? was not a question.

I have had this response when I use a question as an answer, such as "Are you kidding? Your premise is false."

I need to learn to
reverse the order: "Your premise is false. Are you kidding?"

So I learned, with this question, to put the question first:

DO YOU AGREE WITH THE ABOVE STATED PREMISE?

Please, whichever semantics is used to ask little Obama if he agreed with that separatist kook or not makes little difference to me. It seems highly implausible that little Obama did not know the black separatist, blaming, angry rhetorical slant of his lifelong church and "spiritual advisor".
He tried to minimize and deflect with his annoying jargon about believing or embracing what that Wright guy preaches. Again, highly IMPLAUSIBLE that Obama had not embraced those teachings, oh after twenty years worth!!!

Yes, I agree that Obama believes what his pastor says in substance. Anyone who believes his prophet is safe.

Politicians agree to get votes, except where to so would lose them votes.

I doubt it, Obama is a pretty smart guy, even though I don't think he's as good a candidate as Clinton. He lived in Hawaii, the jakarta, LA, Boston, Chicago and Washington, which gives you several perspectives on american history and makes it hard not to realize that while americans were happy the war was over and we've done a lot of horrible things, the idea that we "didn't bat an eye" is rediculous. There has been tremendous debate about why we committed each atrocity we have inflicted and there are often changes in policy that result.

If you mean the part about us complaining about an atrocity committed against us, or being surprised by it, I didn't see much point to that comment. We are just as appalled by it as the japanese were after heroshima and nagasaki, and we have every right to be. The rhetoric made it sound like the pastor didn't think we had a right to be angry about that, but he never quite said that and I don't think Obama feels that way.

I do not believe that Obama believes what his pastor says. I believe that Obama "believes in" what his pastor says.

I live in the Chicagoland area, and see that pastor on tv every Sunday. He gives sermons like that one every single week! He is a racist. He hates America. He and his congregation wear African garb to church every Sunday! You cannot go to church there for 20 years and not agree with the pastor!

Obama is a liar! He's just trying to save his a**. I knew there was something fishy about him because no one is just so squeaky clean. Now I'm finding out what it is. I knew there was a reason I wasn't voting for him.

Peace

hell no he is way to smart to believe him

politices should not be taken seriously

I DO NOT KNOW ABOUT HIM.he has to speak relevant to his election era to get more votes?
