You should not wait until you feel like it before you act. Sometimes I don't feel like getting our of be, but I do it every morning & I love mornings. Sometimes I don't feel like going to church, but I do anyway and I love going. Sometimes I don't feel like going to work, but I do everyday & a love getting paid so I can pay my bills.

To me this means something that you are inclined to do, whether good or bad. Such as telling a lie and then feeling guilty instead of feeling guilty first, which might have prevented you from lying.

But it can also be a good thing, such as kissing someone and not being nervous about it until you've already done it.

To me, that means that a lot of things happen before you're emotionally ready for it. With me, I'm not too sure if that's happened, but I can understand some circumstances where it could happen. For example, you could go out with someone who you kind of like before you're really ready to commit, or express love without feeling it. There are lots of different in which way that phrase could apply to everyday life.
~~Ali. :)

Usually SOMETHING happens to you before you feel it. aka you will win a big prize or your going to be on T.V or something, and it will only hit you once you've actually experienced it.
Another example, is maybe when a loved one passes away, you usually feel really sad AFTER, not right when they do. or it hits you after a certain period of time.
In another sense, it could also mean that if you give someone a present, they will be happy, usually AFTER they open it.

Yes this does have a meaning to me.
In war, there is always action. While in action, you get this strong feeling that this is where you are meant to be. Wheather it's saving a life of a little girl, or covering your partner's back, or saving the world one person at a time.

to do something on impulse and then later think about its consiquences

To me, this would be taking an action without first thinking it through or seeing how you really feel about it. It could be spouting off your thoughts on a subject before actually listening to the facts(something I have done) or something like it. I have really thought I wanted something ( I believe it was a PC game) and I bought it right away. No thought given to it at all. Now it just sits there....not being played.

this would seem like something dealing with sex to me...like your actions during sex...mean that you get the feeling as in orgasm...but im sure others have a better idea of it...oh another would be like say completing school or something you have to do all the actions b4 you get the feeling of accomplishment

Generally, with me it would be the other way around. But, one time, it was the way around you mentioned. I met someone who I felt was not ready for a relationship. He was clearly lost having fairly recently seperated after a 26 year marriage. I should, perhaps, not have encouraged the relationship.......I did tell him that he was not ready. Anyway...when he asked if we had a chance I said yes........that was the action. We did become very close before he died. I am glad I did make that rash decision even though the upshot has thrown my life into disarray.

For the recipiant....yes. I gave they received and their feeling were set in motion. For the giver...it's the opposite...My feelings moved me to give...

i think it means, that when you are really angry about something, you might do something that you regret later on. like when i was a little kid i would lie to my mom, and then my stomach would almost tie in a knot i was so regretful. but then again i was five and had no idea why i felt that way

All reflex actions come before the feeling.

Keeping hand on a very hot surface without knowing - The action takes place before the feeling

For me I can't relate to that statment. The feeling creates an action which in turn may cause another feeling. But to act without feeling is something I can not do.

yeah it is doing things before you think.
