Question:...If we just stopped asking questions all the time?
Why do we have the urge to know everything we can not change anyway?

A question may be either a linguistic expression used to make a request for information, or else the request itself made by such an expression. This information is provided with an answer.
# Descriptive question, used primarily to describe the existence of some thing or process.
# Relational question, designed to look at the relationships between two or more variables.
# Causal question, designed to determine whether one or more variables causes or affects one or more outcome variables

"There are these four ways of answering questions. Which four? There are questions that should be answered categorically [straightforwardly yes, no, this, that]. There are questions that should be answered with an analytical (qualified) answer [defining or redefining the terms]. There are questions that should be answered with a counter-question. There are questions that should be put aside. These are the four ways of answering questions. ”

  • asking is knowing. Else adam, eve AND THE APPLE would still be there - as they were

No. Life would not be better :-(

    One who asks a question is a fool for five minutes;
one who does not ask a question remains a fool forever.

Nobody want to be a fool forever ^-^

Therefore, we must keep asking questions until our very last breathe ^-^

what is the point of life if it is not to learn?

What can't we change? With a proper moral philosophy we can change anything we want. The moral philosophy I speak of is Obejectivism where man is an end to himself.

The fun is in the trying

What do mean? Who's asking questions? Didn't you ask the question here?

This question must be chemically motivated, but in hopes of ending the world stupid.....your asking a question about life being better if you stop asking questions, I think for certain individuals like you life may be better if instead of reducing your self to such microcapulet questions, you just set there staring out the window enjoying certain bliss. Is life better now?

    Hey ya…

Things wouldn’t get better for sure… but u will feel a little better learning the fact that someone else also feels the way you do… be it good or bad… u are assured that u are not one of a kind who is done or undergoing something which u felt was exclusively assigned to you.

    Therefore it’s a feel good factor….

    Cheers!!!

No, it will do more harm than good.

Ignorance is bliss, but this is upto a certain point. Question prosper the world, not answer.

If we do not ask, we will never know the answer.

If we didnt ask ourselves why people catch cold we will continue to be sick.

If we didnt ask ourselves how to drive a car, we will continue to walk to distant places.

If we didnt ask for instructions we will continue to do wrong.

There are certain questions that can be answered yet cannot turn into reality. Such as; how can we stop war? why famine exist? whats the cause for natural catastrophe?

But knowledge is power, it might be a source to help 'no solution' questions. For example, scientists asked what does NK cells do?(natural killer cells) and scientists realized it kills off cancer. By quickly dividing them in the lab and injecting into the cancer patient the cancer growth slowed down.

Like this, we will continue to ask, and find answers that might do good to what we call 'no-solution' kind of problems.;)

    Thanks for asking.

no, agnosticism stems from fear. it is human to ask questions. it is our nature to seek.

No it wouldn't. You may as well tell time to stop ticking.

You are right, accept the life and world as it is , its a secret of happiness.

yes, i agree with you, but it is only human to be curious. That is a like an instinct with humans to ask questions, to know, to want to know. I believe that there are some things that somethings are better kept unsaid, because people keep asking questions, and after a first question, they have another questions, and on top of that another question. But how wud things be if we were to not aska question at all. Think of absolute silence, and thats what ull have. That is what u call peace.
