I think that most people who smoke cigarettes would like to quit .. The programs to help someone quit smoking are terrible ... People would be grouchy for a few days , until the physical withdrawal stopped. But personally as a smoker I would welcome cigarettes becoming illegal .
The government would never let it happen though .. for all their talk against cigarettes ...they want the tax money more than a healthy population... they are Hippocrates.

ummmm...responded - not responsed...lol Report It

  • For starters I would freak out and there would be riots everywhere. Now if u will excuse me...

i'd get to breath easier then, get rich selling them

I think so. Prohibition of alcohol was bad enough, and alot of those people weren't alcoholic. Imagine all the nicotine addicts a-jonesing. I was such a ***** when I quit smoking, I can't imagine what it would have been like if the gov't had forced me. I chose to quit on my own.

I think that the smokers that then decided not to smoke would probably be cranky, but I believe that in the long run, the inviroment would be less polluted and less fires would be started by cigarettes.

There's always, of course, going to be the people that break the law, so not EVERYONE would stop smoking.
