Why there is so pain in loving someone especially when you know the road is dead

I love a man who has been in and out of my life for the past 12 years. Finally the pain is too much. My heart has been broken too many times with him. And the pain is raw and real.
He feels the same.
The more the love the more the pain. And it seems that we all have at least one person in
our lives that we love completely yet can't be with. I don't know why that is.

its because you with that things could be different and that things could work out.
But u don't want to see that there is nothing left, and the truth hurts because nobody ever said that it was pretty to hear or find out.

love does not mean to get the one to whom you love..if you understand this, than nothing can hurt you.........
but if you love some one to get the road alive for you than its mean that you don't love him/her.... its just the affiliation my dear....

You need to detach yourself from your emotions if you don't want to suffer pain. Pain comes when we are so carried away by our emotions that we cannot think straight. It is common to fall in love with someone whom you cannot get because they already belong to somebody else. It will become an injustice to spoil or seriously interfere with that relationship; it is impractical on many considerations so its best to be left alone. If you really love somebody you do not want to get them into any trouble. In a different time and space it may have been a possibility but all considered it should be left alone. It will take a long time to shake off the infatuation; it may always remain a soft spot - but its not the end of the world. If you are young and uncommitted a new love will help you get over it sooner. If you are old you should have the maturity to reason it out.

To feel emotional about some one is quite natural but the mind must kick in to work out all the pros and con of whether it is possible and right.
