It is a negative pleasure, Alex. People who envy and hate DO admire; but they believe, or know, they cannot be like those they admire. It hurts them deeply because their method of thinking is backwards.

You do not hate what you admire. But hating what you cannot have may make you feel PERVERSLY pleased.

Not for me, but there are some who take pleasure in pain.

there are those who find pain a way of release and some people are so twisted that they think that envy and hate are the only way to be. they don't know any better.
