As far as I know, the seventh string, and the lowest of them all, is just to compliment the 2nd string (High to Low)!. Standard drop-D tuning on a seven string guitar (High to Low) is E-B-G-D-A-D-B!. As far as DROP-A tuning, I would try (Low to High) F-Ab-E-Ab-Db-F-Db!. If not, you could raise (or drop) the sharp strings (the two A's and D's) Ab to A (or back up to B) and the the D strings from Db to D (or back up to E)!. Other than that, the best way to find out is just play around with it a little bit!. I would recommend that you keep it in Drop C ([Low to High] A-C-G-G-F-A-D) to keep from the pitch of the strings being too sensitive to their environment (Natural Humidity and Air Pressure)!. In the end though, it's up to you!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

OK dude!.!.!.!.

The whole point of a 7 string guitar is to NOT drop tune!!!!!!!!!
That's why it has the extra string!.

So you don't need to drop tune!. You can play a Really Low A power chord like you would a Low E power chord on a 6 string!.

If you drop tune a 7 string, it's because you have no idea how to play any chords other than the first 3 frets, and that means you have much more to learn!.

What you have already goes as low as you possibly could need with regular tuning!.

Please read this wikipedia article on 7 strings:

Just tune your low 7th string to A!. An octave of your E-A-D-G-B-E!. I have a 7 string as well!. But I usually tune my low to a B!. You must play some pretty heavy **** if your tuning to A!. Best of luck!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

drop your low b to an A and there ya goWww@QuestionHome@Com
