Question: I'm Auditioning For My School Talent Show!?
I'm going to be singing "Tear Drops On My Guitar" by Taylor Swift!. Everyone says I'm a good singer but I get really nervous singing in front of more than 4 people! Do you have any tips on how to overcome stage fright!? Any help is appreciated, thanks!Www@QuestionHome@Com

Stare at a fixed point above the audience, about halfway between the tops of their heads and the lights!. The lights should be enough to make it hard to see anything without being too bright because you're not staring directly at them!.

Another tactic is the tried and true, picture everyone in their underwear technique!. While this doesn't work for me, it does work for many people, so try it!.

Looking directly into the light would do the trick, but you run the risk of damaging your eyes!.

If all else fails, close your eyes and try to lose yourself in the music!. It's better if you play guitar, because then you can feel the music and hear it coming from the guitar as well as from yourself!.

Good luck!Www@QuestionHome@Com
