I would say I'm advanced at guitar playing, having done so since August, 1956 (52 years)!. I can play many songs once I hear them a time or two and for those that don't register in my mind I simply buy the sheet music, learn the basic melody line, and improvise with chordal progressions and mood!.

My main venue is Country, Blues (Delta blues), Flamenco, Pop standards, Spanish, and classics!. I'm not into shred, heavy metal, and acid rock, but will play soft rock and those that I grew up listening to, which is the rock of the 1950s!.

I have been playing guitar for about two months(: I can play the opener for Metallica - One, Smoke on the Water by Deep Purple, the lead for Adam's song, and Here Comes the Bride!. Haha!. I play constantly!. I was looking at easy acoustic songs on here to learn!. I use guitar tabs!. Its fun and easy!. I'm alright!.!. not bad for someone at one month I guess!. I've been playing ever since I was little, just picking up one of my dads guitars and doodling, maybe he'd give me a guitar lesson every once in a while!.!.!. I've really only been serious about it for a year!.

i went from bass to guitar!. turned out my hands were too big (my hand wrapped around the guitar body) so now i play 6 string bass!.
