Best advice is to do what everyone else does: wait at the stage door!. Having said that, it's also good to keep in mind the following
- actors are always tired after a show, and won't necessarily come outside (for instance, after a matinee)
- actors may not feel like signing autographs even if they do come outside, and may have other things to do (like get some dinner, etc)
- actors are 'harassed' all the time for autographs!. If you're going to do it, be polite, and if they say no, then don't be too upset!.
- remember, actors are people too!. They like their privacy; respect that

Otherwise, you can always see if there is any merchandise available (ie!. for raising money for charities, etc) on ebay or the like, with authentic autographs!. You can also always try contacting the actor's agent, via snail mail, and asking for an autograph - send them a reply paid envelope for them to use!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

maybe you could go and watch one of their games if they're a soccer / football / netball etc player and ask for their autograph there!. i think you can also purchase it online !.Www@QuestionHome@Com
