Question: Best Electric Guitars!?
Been looking to buy a new electric!. I kinda like Schecter Tempest because it has a unique look to it!. can you guys tell me some other brands that i could that can range anywhere from $500-$1000 dollars besides gibson and fender!? (those two are obviously worth looking at so give me some more ideas) thanks!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

hmm yea:

Schecter is definately a company you have to look at!. It's mainly focused on metal/rock guitarists, but it's really comfortable!. I would say the strong point of a schecter are the pickups, they just sound good!. They also include EMG pickups on guitars that are cheaper than other brands!. BUT, one word of caution: for most of their guitars the volume knob gets in the way of playing from time to time!. I've found myself turning the sound off on these guitars!. I've had to change my posture to accomodate this, but i got used to it!.

ESP, is also another brand you should look at!. My current favorite guitar is an ESP!. LTD MH-1000 it's just under a thousand dollars!. It comes with a floyd rose tremolo, EMG pickups, 24 fret neck, great top (maple!?) with a translucent gray finish!. Stays in tune perfectly!.

I also have owned an Ibanez!. These necks are actually easier to play up higher than the ESP i own, but the pickups are really really really weak, unless they come with DiMarzios!. If u get the guitars less than 800 dollars, be prepared to switch out pickups, cuz they don't put out enough sound!.

Jacksons are also a nice brand, but this company aims toward the higher paying buyers!. Higher Paying as in more than one thousand dollars!. You should still check out their lower end guitars which are good in the 700-1000 dollar range!.

Well, you mentioned Gibson, but i personally don't like this brand!. Sound is great and all, but not for the type of music i play/like!. It's also rly heavy if u get the Les Paul!. I rly haven't been able to tell the difference between some epiphones and gibsons, once the pickups are changed out!.

Fender is just overrated!.

I rly don't know the type of style you play, but I do recommend that you try and play EVERY guitar in the guitar shop ur going to!. Every guitar is made differently, and even the really expensive ones that cost 2000 dollars can have defects!. (my friends gibson explorer had some issues)

Have fun playing~Www@QuestionHome@Com

well, there is a lower priced guitar, called the Ibanez ART-100, it worth it!. It looks kinda like a les paul, but it sounds better (in MY opinion) its as slim as an SG, and it has incredible sustain!. it comes in 4 finishes: Black, Silver, White, Transparent Cherry Red!. as I said before, its well worth it!. it cost about 300 US dollars, and I own 1 already;silver, and I'm planning on buying either a white one, or the red!. check it out man,Www@QuestionHome@Com

I have an Ibanez RG350DX that I got 2 weeks ago and I love it!. The neck feels great and is really fast, it has low action and is a great shred guitar!. It also has a double-locking whammy and it never comes out of tune, even when you do some pretty rude divebombs and squeals!. I'd suggest pretty much anything from Ibanez!. They are low priced too, and for the quality, it's a really good deal!.Www@QuestionHome@Com
