Oh, I do theater and I used to have a lot of stage fright!. It's awful! and it can really get in the way of things!. anyway! you should take three deep, deep breaths before you go on stage, which i know sounds cliché, but it does help!. then you should put your arms down straight to your sides, with your hands up so that they are parallel to the floor, and move your shoulders up and down as fast and hard as you can like 10 times to pump the blood to your fingertips, it gets you more awake and less heady and nervous!. lastly, practice a lot and be confident :) good luck! I'm sure you'll be great!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

Well i realize its to late now but oh well!.you'll have more concerts!.
It sounds like your first concert!Don't worry, you feel totally safe because well bands are huge!.(at least mine is)so just take deep breaths(that's like the most important thing, especially if you play a wind instrument)and just relax!.its just like playing in the band room only people get to listen to you! : ) I know,at first it's scary but soon you'll get the hang of it and hopefully love preforming!I know i do!And my first concert i was so scared and nervous but now i have the hang of it!.also, they go by so fast!.you have like what 3,maybe4 songs!?
Trust me!.it'll be fine!.Better than fine,it'll be fun!!!
Just take deep breaths, and DO NOT look into the audience!.
also don't look up at the lights!.(i did that my first concert and nearly blinded myself!.Don't look up!)
Well i hope this helps and brake a leg!: )
P!.S its good to have some stage fright,it makes you do your best!Www@QuestionHome@Com

If you have practiced your stuff then just focus on your playing!. Believe me, it will be over before you know it!. Don't think about it too much either!. Just focus and prepare!. If you get the butterflies, just take a deep breath!. You made the decision to play so just do it!. If you make a mistake don't dwell on it!. just keep moving!. After the performance you can think about how things went!. What went well and what didn't!. also, just pretend you've done this a thousand times and if anything goes wrong, eh, strike it up to a bad day!. In other words don't let them see you sweat!. They won't know the difference unless of course ummmm you don't know your material!. Good luck!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

Here's what helps me when I have to speak in front of people or sing a solo: Take four really slow, deep breaths!. Tell yourself that nobody's really concerned with you because they're all concerned with their own stuff, anyway!. Then take four more deep breaths!. Good luck!Www@QuestionHome@Com

Just relax!. It's normal!. Don't focus on the crowd but on what you are there to do and the fear will eventually go away!. I'm a preacher and it happens to me every time I get behind the pulpit!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

Just think, when it is all over life will go on!. You will still be alive and you will move forward!. No worries!. No big deal!. Good luck!Www@QuestionHome@Com
