Question: Do anyone play the electric violin!?
I used to play the clarinet, ( still can) but i would like to play the electric violin!. Is it alot diff from a regualr violin!. Does it matter if i have never played a regualr violin , and want to play and electric one!? Any advice!?Www@QuestionHome@Com

No difference in the fingerings!. The sound of course will be different!.
I have found that if all you want is an electric violin, a solid body one is cheaper but since the sound is electronic they can sound as good as hollow body ones!.
To learn I would look for something under $200!. A good practice amp can be had for less than $100 and a serious performance amp for $250 and up!.
If you have or can get a decent regular violin, a good contact microphone can be added for about $150
