Careers involving piano?

Question: Careers involving piano!?

I don't have any special skills or particular interests!. The only thing I like to do is play piano, so just out of sheer curiousity are their any careers that you can make a living off of playing piano!?Www@QuestionHome@Com

The most illustrious career would be concert pianist!. To me, the next best thing is college professor (or as some are called "Artist-in-Residence"--that gives you the license to perform a lot outside of the school)!.

Of course, if classical music does not interest you, then I wouldn't recommend being a mainstream piano teacher because what most people expect is an education in [at least] some classical music!. But some piano teachers just teach jazz, gospel, pop music because that's what some people want to play!.

If you're really good, then you have lots of options!. If you're really young, you can still do any of these things!. But if you're not interested in completing a college degree, then concert pianist and college professor are not options!.Www@QuestionHome@Com
