I would suggest Let It Be!. It's something everyone knows, so if you can do it well, they'll really think it's great, however, if you can't do it justice, they're sure to notice!. and if you're considering a country song, don't do one with so much twang and country accents, such as taylor swift!. carrie underwood maybe, but probably not!. I know if you're school is anything like mine, they probably aren't big fans of country!. classics from movies are always great, too!. Think of Me (Phantom of the Opera) is a fantastic one and I know of a great piano arrangement, but it's pretty high, so if you're an alto, it may be difficult!. Good luck!!! :)Www@QuestionHome@Com

Everytime by Britney Spears!. I like it because its nice and slow and when sung properly, can really show off your voice!. But if your not a fan of Britney I would suggest any kind of ballad or slow song from people like Dido, Sarah McGlaughlin, or Celine Dion!. also songs like Hurt by Christina Aguilera can really show off your voice but are a little bit more challenging to sing!.

My Suggestions are:

Everytime - Britney Spears
White Flag - Dido
Anything from Sarah McGlaughlin as she has once called herself "The Queen of Love Songs"
My Heart Will Go On - Celine Dion
Better In Time - Leona Lewis
Hurt - Christina Aguilera

I like Let it Be!.
uh sing something not to well known
but something in your range!.

Don't sing any songs that have come out recently
or songs that "made" the singer's career
no matter how good at the song you are people will always
compare you to the original singer

but whatever you choose, Break a leg!Www@QuestionHome@Com

Let it Be is an amazing song!.!.!. especially when girls/women sing it!.!.!. I would go with that!. The majority of your audience will know the song and probably enjoy better than a song they aren't familiar with!. Good luck :)Www@QuestionHome@Com
