Is la boheme any good?

Question: Is la boheme any good!?

i've had the dvd on a shelf for about a year and a half, still haven't got around to watching it!. av heard two arias from it like, and they are absolutely beautiful, really loverly!. i know the story, but just wondered if anybody would recommend it or otherwise!?Www@QuestionHome@Com

I have seen the opera live more than once!. Puccini's music is divine!. He was a master of manipulating the audiences emotions through the music so be sure to have a large hanky available! One thing to watch for - you will never have seen a healthier person dying of consumption!!Www@QuestionHome@Com

Depends who's in it!. Some opera singers are good; some stars are great; others not so!. But why on earth has it taken so long to get around to watching it!?Www@QuestionHome@Com
