Now I've been playing guitar for a loooong time!. For some reason that logo on the guitar rings a bell!. from a distance it looks like a martini glass, but when I looked closer I could tell it was like an old time atom logo!. and for some reason I thought it was familiar!.
I seem to recall guitars like this when I was a little kid!. We're talking the 60's early 70's!. The atom logo would place it around then when space flight and futuristic stuff was popular!.
I 'm almost sure that those guitars were sold at discount department stores!. We had a place called Gemco which was like an early Walmart!. It might have been there I saw them!. It was either that or Sears or JC penney or some store like that!.
Sorry I can't tell you the brand, but it isn't anything spectacular I can tell you that!. It probably sold for about $20-$30 back then!.
The workmanship is very plain and the tuners are of a really simple variety!.

You just found this in an old garbage pile or goodwill or something!?
that's about all it's good for, I'm afraid!. The nut at the end of the neck is broken so you can only string up 5 strings!. The tuners are all rusty!.
I mean if you are hoping it's valuable or something, it's not!. Except as a curiosity!. If the neck is straight and if tuned plays OK it might be worth repairing with a new nut and tuners!.!.!.!.!.!.but!.!.!.!.!.

I'm pretty sure that unless you run across some old guitar player like me who actually owned one, you'll never find the brand!.

all I can tell you is that it's at least 30-40 years old and a very cheap no name brand!.

look into the sound hole!. usually there is a manufacturing label pasted on the inside of acoustic guitars!.!.!.maybe it's still there!.
EDIT:
I read the answer about it being Kay!. I checked around some more!. The Kay logo is similar but not quite it!. Although give the guy credit, he is on the right track!.
Tha Kay guitar company also made guitars under other names!. one of them being Teisco guitars (sold at Montgomery Ward and other places like!.!.!.!.!.!.Gemco!!
I remember a friend of mine had a Teisco electric and I used to check them out at Gemco when I was 10 or 11!.

Look at model 13!. you can see on the headstock a logo eerily like the one on yours!. the picture is all fuzzy when you blow it up, but you can just make out the little atom logo!!

So thanks to the other guy, he got me going in the right direction!. Teisco was all into futuristic guitars, so the logo fits perfectly!. I knew I'd seen it before!

Your guitar is a Teisco Acoustic!.
(it was really bugging me, I had to find out!)Www@QuestionHome@Com

If it wasnt for the 'made in usa' I'd say it looks like a 'KAY' acoustic!?!?!?!.!.!.but you need to see if the sticker inside the body cavity is still there!.!.!.the round disc at the top of the head stock!?!.!.!.is the only thing that makes me believe its a Kay!.!.!.I believe it was first manufactured in the seventies as a budget guitar!.!.!.Then again it could be a lost prototype Martin dreadnaught in which case you could retire early!?!.!.!.best of luck!.!.!.Www@QuestionHome@Com
