Depends on a whole lot of factors! area , student base, experience, qualifications etc! Generally its around $1 a minute! Call and ask around! But remember if you pay peanuts you get monkeys so be careful! Call around and ask about price experience etc! Or you can also call your local school music teacher or band director they usually have a list of music teachers that they trust and know well! Private lessons are the best way to go! It can be very frustrating in a class of beginners who are at a different level! It really depends a lot upon where you live!. Here in Southern California, most private lessons are between $40 and $60 per hour, while semi-private and group lessons are less!.
