Question: Young children and dancing!?

I used to be in freestyle dancing when I 4 until I turned 8!. I took modern dance and freestyle hip hop!. I was just at local dance competition with girls (and few boys) aged 3-12 and I was shocked at the costumes and the way the children were dancing so erotic!. One of the songs was "Candy Man - Christina Agelria!. That song talks about popping my cherry and making panties drop !! Why do they put children in such productions!? I have boys and they are 8 and 5!.!.!.they aren't involved in things that require music!.!.!.We try not to listen or watch things at home that are suggestive!.!.!.It's hard to do!.!.!.I personally have only seen 1 or 2 episodes of 2 and a half men because it is so baudy!.!.for lack of a better word!.!.!.lol Even some Disney channel stuff later in the evening can make my kids ask quesitons!.!.!.I don't mind answering the questions I just wish all this sex and things that my boys aren't ready for were'nt so in you face!.!.!.I understand what your saying and agree with you!.!.!.

Today, parents are letting their children grow up too fast and not allowing them to me children, at all!. I am adamantly opposed to the type of music and dress that preteen and teenagers are allowed to listen to and wear!. Blame it on Hollywood, TV, and the parents willingness to provide these abominations!. I do not want to hear of peer pressure, there is right and there is wrong!. If the adult can't see the wrong, then they are just as foolish as the children they are raising!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

I agree with you!. I am a Dad and a Uncle and I would NEVER allow my daughter to do dance with the grinding and all the sexual innuendos that seem to be part of dance!.Www@QuestionHome@Com
